Superb service! I was introduced to Austin Farms through my builder, Elevate Design + Build, and I'm so grateful. Let me just say—decision fatigue is real! Landscaping was one of the final stages of our home build, and I knew very little about plants, trees, or flowers. Jody was an absolute gem. He met me at the property, took the time to listen to my vision, and offered thoughtful, professional guidance every step of the way. His expertise gave me confidence in my selections, and he never made me feel overwhelmed. Throughout purchasing and installation, he went above and beyond by sending progress photos and regular updates, which made the entire process seamless. Naturally, I ended up going a little over budget, and Austin Farms was incredibly gracious in allowing me additional time to make payment. That level of customer service speaks volumes. Thanks to Austin Farms' exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding customer care, I was able to achieve the landscape I'd been dreaming of. I couldn't be happier with the final result and would highly recommend Austin Farms to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and customer-focused landscaping company.

Their grass comes freshly cut and fertilized straight from the field—lush, green, and healthy at installation. The Sod Manager is incredibly knowledgeable—he knows everything about sod, irrigation, and landscaping and took the time to explain it all. The sod installers were immaculate, with clean lines and attention to detail, and the grade crew did a fantastic job preparing the yard. From start to finish, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Highly recommend!

I chose Austin Farms Sodding because they handle everything—irrigation, grading, landscaping, and sod—and they exceeded all my expectations. They completed the irrigation and grading in a single day, and came back first thing the next morning to lay the sod. The Sod Manager personally walked me through the irrigation system, explaining how to use it to maintain my new lawn. I was honestly impressed with how quickly and professionally the sod was laid—and the grass was incredibly green and healthy. This company is top-tier for all landscaping needs. Fast, efficient, and detail-oriented. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a beautiful result!

Let me start by saying that, Austin Farm Sodding is a fantastic company to work with! I have a small lawn and landscape company, based out of Lees Summit… And while our primary focus is on lawn maintenance, we do, however, take sod jobs from time to time. I can’t recall exactly how I found Austin Farms, but I have use them for our side jobs since 2015, and I’ve always had a great result! Not only with residential properties, but several commercial properties around the Kansas City metro area that were completed by us, with sod from Austin Farms… including various Slim Chickens, Tires Plus, Candlewood suites etc. If you’re on the fence about getting sod from them, just do it! They are a family owned company, and have always done a great job in providing both quality product and customer service that has kept me coming back continuously (and no, I don’t know them personally, nor did I get paid to leave this review lol)

When working on a neighbor’s sod installation, Austin Farms came onto our private property without knowledge or permission of homeowner and tore out a section of our sod (which they had previously installed) after we spent a month watering and establishing root system and fertilizing. We were home at the time and they never even knocked on our door. The work were the sod replaced was half torn out and half just added an extra layer on top of original sod; it was poorly done and numerous calls saw no action until action was pointless. We never even got an apology for coming onto our property and doing work we never asked for! I wouldn’t hire this company as if there are any issues or problems they have poor customer service and do not correct it within a reasonable amount of time or compensate for the extra expense and time they cost homeowners, they feel entitled to work on your property without permission. They area they worked on had a small amount of mud washed on top of the sod, but it already had new growth poking through and wasn’t an issue.
